Default How to change default logo to your own

When you purchase one of our premade vBulletin 4 skins you will receive several PSD files which includes logo, header, and footer. In some cases you will find the logo within the header psd, and when required additional psds are provided for sections to be customized.

    Directions:

    Option 1: Change Text
    1. Locate the header/logo psd located within the zip file provided.
    2. Double click on the psd, which will open the application Photoshop (if installed on your computer)
    3. Once the PSD file is open, please click on the Text Tool located on the left.
    4. Once the Text Tool is selected please click on the logo text to change to your own. If for any reason the font is not installed on your computer please contact us and we will either help with the logo or provide you the font if we legally can.
    5. Once you have the text set please go to File > Save for Web & Devices to save the image. Please make sure you name it the same as it currently is.

Option 2 : Insert your Logo
    1. Locate the header/logo psd located within the zip file provided.
    2. Double click on the psd, which will open the application Photoshop (if installed on your computer)
    3. Once the PSD file is open, hide the text layers located at the bottom right of your screen.
    4. Now that the text is hiding, open your logo (preferably png or psd) and place your logo to fit the same dimensions of the current logo.
    5. Once you have the text set please go to File > Save for Web & Devices to save the image. Please make sure you name it the same as it currently is.

    Uploading Logo
    1. Now that you have saved your new logo, please open your favorite FTP program
    2. Find your newly saved logo and upload it to images/styles/STYLENAME/style and replace the existing logo in the folder.

    Modify Logo File in Stylevars
    1. Login to admincp (http://www.yourdomain.com/admincp)
    2. Click and expand Styles & Templates
    3. Click Style Manager
    4. Click the go button to the right of StyleVars
    5. Using the search type titleimage found under ImagePaths
    6. Modify the path to your logo, please remember the dimensions MUST match.
