Thread: New Skin Question

Hi,

I was just wondering if you might be able to tell me which of the 2 skins that were voted on in the sneak peak forum are you going to be releasing? The only reason I ask is that I have been waiting to see if it was the iBusiness one you chose because that one is perfect for my needs. And if the other was chosen then I will keep looking.

Also, will the winner be out this month sometime?

I think we will be releasing iBusiness and either ZoneOne or ClanTemplate so in this case, we will try to release two themes at the same or release iBusiness first then either ZoneOne or ClanTemplate which ever one Adam codes for the next month.

Thank you Nicholas, I'm so happy to hear iBusiness is being released as that is the one I really wanted for my site. Great looking theme!

If you don't mind, I have 2 questions...

1. What is the chance it will be released before the end of the month?

2. Is it possible for me to change the forum icons? Like here on your forums you have a little clipboard icon. Is it possible to change those to fit the scheme of the forums? I would love to have a little cancer support ribbon as the icon. Is that just a matter of changing an image?

And by the way, I am now receiving emails for my subscribed threads so I guess you fixed that...thanks...

I don't really know in terms of it being released for this month or next and yes, it is possible for you to change those icons and yes it's just as simple as replacing those images that the theme will come with, with the ones you want to replace them with.

Since Adams comment in June and this is now August is there any further info on when iBusiness will be released?

From what I know, Adam has 3 skins XHTML coded and ready for vBulletin ( iBusiness, ClanTemplate & ZoneOne ) so hang in there as iBusiness is soon to be released. There is just no specific date as of yet.

Glad to hear he has them coded and ready for VB. I really, really like the iBusiness template and it will work perfectly for my needs. However, I am running out of time and kind of need to decide on one by the end of next week. I am really hopeing for this one, but if I can't get it I will go with my second choice even though their customer service is no where near yours.

Please don't take any of that to heart as I understand your position and know that perfection cannot be hurried. And in my opinion, the iBusiness template is perfection.

So, we will see how it goes and I will keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again for letting me know what info you know.
